37 DonMacLennan, Charles Beaver, William Haney, Mr. Hackett, Neil Mullins, Jerry Wyett. This year the debate teams won 63% of their debates while partici- pating in eighteen debates. They were awarded a plaque by the U. of M. and the Detroit Free Press, "for excellence in debating." They are eligible to participate in regional eliminations for state championship debate. The debaters for the year were as follows: Bill Haney and Jerry Wyett, negative team; Chuck Beaver, Neil Mullins, and Don MacLennan, affirmative team. The reserve team was as follows; Sally Smith, Eileen Piotrowski, John Truesdell, Liz Herweyer, and John Bjorkquist.
