40 The varsity cheerleaders this year, under the direction of Miss Radwanski, are Marilyn Cowsert, Connie Gac, Beverly Gill, Virginia Gac, Nancy Walker, and Shirley Fraser. This year the cheerleaders were joined by two boys, Charles Beaver and Lee Miller. The cheer– leaders did a wonderful job of leading the pep assemblies and cheering at the football and basket– ball games. The girls' chorus was first formed as a mixed chorus for boys and girls, but due to the lack of male voices the group has again become an all girl group. The purpose of the group is to give the students who enjoy music the opportunity to study diffe– rent types of music--both sacred and secular and to participate in various programs here at school.
