The best of your life seems behind you Years of childhood and youth You now have to face the future In a world seeming strange and aloof. But your training has taught you To face it--to smile--to hold up your chin Don't spend all your time in remembering Just roll up your sleeves and dig in. Good work is always rewarded Be it with plow, or scalpel or pen For the world is in need of leaders And you are tomorrow's women and men.
