Ann Arbor High School 1962 Yearbook (Ann Arbor, MI) - Full Access

Kelley Rea President Jon March Vice-president Mary Carol Watrous Secretary Senior board initiates activities. With the careful guidance and supervision of our two most able advisors, Mrs. Ruth Straight and Mr. Charles Barclay, the Senior Executive Board coordinated its activities. During the course of the year the Executive Board planned and took part in many activities. Many of these were sponsored for the Senior Class only, but others involved the student body as a whole. Among these activities were the Senior and All-school talent show, Pride Week activities, and the Senior Prom. Committees were set up in late fall to plan and formulate these activities and co-chairmen were appointed at this time. The co-chairmen are as follows: Prom - Carol Child and Bill Newton; Banquet - Bev Snyder and Phil Enns; Gift - Mary Strand and Jim Harger; Announcements- Jane Jacob and Mike Tay– lor; Pride Week - Katie Murphey and Gary Tasch; Talent Show - Glenna Larson and Fran Craig. The Class of 1962 may leave Ann Arbor High with a feeling of nostalgia; but they will, we are sure, rememher their Senior year as the most fun-filled and eventful year of all, and will carry away with them fond memories of happy times spent at Ann Arbor High.
