What some people will do for pep! Pep Rallies Arouse School Spirit School Spirit is one thing that is present in large measures at Ann Arbor High School, as illustrated by the outstanding enthusiasm at pep rallies throughout the school year. With the aid of the band the cheer– leaders have done a fine job in planning, promoting, and filling the students with the spirit and pep to attend the sports and cheer the teams to victory. It is a time when team members are honored for their outstanding performances and friendly class rivalry is displayed by the boisterous screams of each class out-yelling the others. The rally is then traditionally ended by the singing of ''The Purple and The White." The varsity struts proudly by. Let's sing the "Purple and the White!" 37
