Pioneers Tbe winning float was a good oman. th ri II fans with The talents and labors of many of our high school students made the Ann Arbor High School Homecoming of 1961 a success. The parade of floats, an unusually exciting football game ending in victory over Lansing Eastern, the crowning of the queen, and the homecoming dance were high points of a great October weekend. Many home– rooms and other organizations labored for several days to prepare their floats for the parade. This year's theme was television shows. The winning float was assem– bled by junior homerooms D-206, B-106, and D-214. Its theme was "Mr. Lucky," taken from the popular tele– vision show. The Parade was followed by a bonfire and pep rally.
