homecoming spectacular. was crowned queen. Her attendants were sophomores, Sue Hogan and Laura Evans; juniors, Sally Sinn and Robin Lawerance; seniors, Judy Smith and Gail McCormick. Ann Arbor beat the Quakers 18-14. When the Quakers fumbled on the Pio– neer thirty-six-yard line, lineman Steve Naumcheff scooped the ball up in his arms and scrambled the sixty-four yards for Ann Arbor's homecoming-saving touchdown, just as time ran out, mak– ing the victory an unusual and a thrill– ing one. The following evening the semi– formal Homecoming Dance presided over by the queen, was held. The theme was "Wonderful World of Color." The many couples attending danced happily to the music of the band, enjoying one of the outstanding events of the school year.
