Secretary Fran Farris, Vice-president John Maybee, president Paul Di– mond, and treasurer Judy Rogers make plans for the next meeting. Student Council Committees work seriously . . . The 1961-62 Student Council carried out various projects with the utmost success under the leadership of Paul Dimond. Their effort to rejuvenate Pioneer Pride Week was met with great enthusiasm from the entire student body. New projects the council attempted were the passing of the Leadership Policy for a more ef– fective point system, a special Constitutional Re– vision Committee formed to examine the high school constitution thoroughly, appropriated funds for delegates to the National Student Council Conference, and established an I nter– national Club with the intention of forming bet– ter relations with the exchange students. The Special Projects Committee was added to the program of the council also, and the council re– mains on a firm financial basis. Along with the new activities, the council carried on the Blood Bank, sponsored dances, the book exchange, Homecoming, information booth, pep rallies, special assemblies, busses to athletic contests, and various charity drives. runs our school. and have fun. so
