Final Six-A Ann Arbor Jackson L ansing Eastern Battle Creek Lansing Sexton Kalamazoo Swimmers Led by co-captains Phil Enns and Bob Chapman, the swim– mers streaked through another successful season. The team took first place in the Six-A meet scoring 98 points and placing a strong third in the state meet. There were many standouts on the team. Janis Bomis, Bob Chapman, Mike Jewell, Jim Groesbeck, Rick Porter, Dave Blanchard, Mike Fink, Phil Enns, and Ken Genova were among those who gave their best to become a first-rate team. Special mention should go to Mike Royster who did a tremendous job all season. With a good number of juniors and sophomores returning next year, Coach Paul Clifford can expect to have another fine season.
