Cody's track team ended the 1967 season with a respectable record of three wins and four losses. The most outstanding event was the mile relay. In this event, four boys completed the race in a record time of 3:25.5. Standouts on this year's team were John Wright, who finished third in the half mile, and Steve Mellos, who finished second in the high hurdles, but was disqualified for acci– dentally knocking an opponent's hurdle over.
