Starlight and Sentiment Set Chosen as Prom Queen and King were Barbara Anderson and Ron Dallenbach. Mr. George Donaldson, principal, enjoys the honor of crowning the Queen. Already having received the King's medal is Ron Dallenbach, who watches the crowning. After the court danced the Royal Waltz, all the couples joined to– gether and participated in the Grand March. 132 The senior prom is definitely the highlight of the year. The evening of February 2 will remain a most memorable one, for on that night the Jan– uary graduating class held its prom. As in past years, the prom took place in the Crystal Ballroom of the Masonic Temple. A crowd of 90 couples was present at this last gathering of the graduates high school days. The ballroom was decorated beautifully with the class colors of forest green and light green. Setting a delightful atmosphere was the theme, Starlight and Sentiment. Musical entertainment was supplied by the Tom Houghton Orchestra. As tradition prevailed, the special event of crowning the Queen preceded the Grand March, led by Mr. Walter Bothwell, and the Royal Waltz. Mr. Freeman Westbrook, president of the Parents Club, introduced Mr. George Donaldson, principal, who presented a bouquet of red roses to the Prom Queen and a medal to the King.
