Mrs. Maxine Schneider, who is a native-hom German, is the only instructor for the German language. Here she listens attentively Marcia Jones and Tim Cooper, foreign language lab assistants, help cut tapes for the language classes to use. while her students recite their lessons in German. She feels that through recitation a student can speak German fluently. In the language laboratory in room 109, students are able to hear exactly how the native language is spoken. 27
