A strong mind is not only the key to success; a strong body is also needed. This proves somewhat true as Cody students learn how to achieve better health and endurance for their future years. The physical education program at Cody covers a wide range of activities to provide fun and recreation. Often, the background one receives in gym is enough to lead one into the pursuit of an athletic letter and a possible lifetime interest in a sport. Cody's students receive a well-rounded knowledge of many sports including: basketball, swimming, field hockey, soccer and baseball. This year Cody was fortunate to have Miss Sheila Dennis and Mr. Carl Van Peeren join the staff, re– placing Mrs. Jewett and Mr. Matheson.
