Spring Comedy Sparkles Stage Cody Theatre Guild presented the comedy "Arsenic and Old Lace" by Joseph Kesselring on April 20 and 21, 1967. This three-act play centered around the Brewsters, a Brooklyn family in which "insanity runs." The two sis– ters, Abby and Martha and their brother Teddy are eccentric. Abby and Martha pity lonely old men and merci– fully add arsenic to their Elderberry wine. Teddy, who believed he was Pres– ident Teddy Roosevelt, and that he must bury the victims of yellow fever in the Panama Canal, entombed all of his sisters' victims in the cellar. The presence of a plastic surgeon and his patient (on whom the scapel acci– dentally slipped during an operation), a love-struck girl, Teddy running up and down stairs yelling, "Charge!" and sev– eral corpses added to the merriment of the presentation. The helpless nephew of the two zany aunts rounded out the evening of fun. Mr. Roger Moldovan did a splendid job in directing the cast with the help of his student director, Debbie Moore. Even though there were only 15 mem– bers in the cast, there were 27 other students and I0 faculty members who helped make the production a success. In this close-up picture of the two homicide sisters one can su how ~J.illful maf.. e– up of Ginny Ellis and Linda Sz.ydlo turned them into old ladies. The cast was Ric Claspell (Mr. Witherspoon), Wadi! Zimostrad (Mr. Gibbs), Lloyd Songal (Re1·. Dr. Harper), Jim Adams (Officer Brophy), Tim Formigan (Officer O'Hara), Carl Rader (Lieutenant Rooney), Bob Adamson (Officer Klein), Art Si/1•a (Mortimer Brewster), Sandy Woodra (Elaine Harper), Linda Sz.ydlo (A bby Brewster), Bob Kru mins f..i (Teddy Brewster), Ginny Ellis (Martha Brewster), Craig Ellis (Messrs.
