Perfect attendance in high school is very valuable to any student's record. Each semester the seniors who have such a record are awarded a trophy by the Cody Star at the Honors Con– vocation. The highest service award of all is the C-pin. This pin is awarded to stu– dents who have earned fifteen or more service credits. In order to receive one service certificate a student must spend a minimum of seventy-five forty min– ute periods in service to the school. These service credits are given only for activities in which academic credit or any other cype of award is not given such as hall guards, library staff, lab assistants and Comet staff. One athletic trophy is presented to the most valuable player chosen from one of the many sports teams in the school and another is given for good sportsmanship by the I .M.S.S.C.
