This past December, 27 more were honored by receiving member– shlp. These 27 were the top of the 780 graduating in June. The reason for so few being inducted is obvious when one ob– serves the high qualifications a member must have. High scholastic scholarship, good character, earned numerous service points, and recommendations as an active leader in extracurricular activities. Most everyone has some of these qualities, but few have all of them. During the past years, the NHS has provided a service to Cody by running a College Information Center. This year this service was changed to a tutoring service for any student who needs help. Many times a teacher does not have the time to help each student when he needs it. The NHS is a welcome substitute for the teacher on many occasions. 50 KJusacek, Maxine Martin, Sally Chaney, Virginia Ellis.
