The String Ensemble Played for Banquets, FROM L TO R: Dennis Niemi, Mike Niemi, Ray Sherwood, Robert Gamble, Anne Mills, Larry Frank, Laura Oinonen, Mary Joki . Scholarship winners "Banquet" was the key word for the '71-72 String Ensemble. Sheryl Salmi served as leader of the group which played for a great number of civic banquets throughout the year including the hamber of Commerce Banquet and The Athletic Banquet. They al o played for the District Republican Convention on May 20, at the Radis- on Duluth Hotel. A banquet for the group wa held at the Village Inn on May 22, to finish off the year. Trio
