Voices Raised in Songs We Admire The Cloquet vocal mu ic group under the direc– tion of Mr. Donald Schroeder, pre en ted two well– directed enior high concerts for the 1971-72 chool )Car. t the Christma Concert December 16, the mixed choir sang the traditional "T\\ a the ight Before Christma " along with such other election as "Hodie hri tus atu · E t", and "Birthday Greeting" b) Kodaly. Throughout the Christmas season, the madrigal-. spread cheer and good tiding , singing and ringing their bell for the variou clubs and organiLations around town . Highlighting their sea on on December 5, was a performance given at the annual Duluth Chri tma Pageant. An excellent Spring Concert performance by the choir April 20, entertained a large audience with such difficult number a "Ye Are Not of the Fie h" b) Bach, and "Pra)er of Steel" by Chri tian on, plus several other . inging such elections a "Now i the Month of Maying," and "Sweet Love Doth '\o,., Invite", the madrigal pre ented a convincing displa) of their talent . Thi group ended their ing– ing performance for the year on April 18, at the t. Paul Hilton for an Innovation Fair pon ored by the tate Department of Education .
