Volleyball Team Takes First in Northeastern ROW 1: Judy Almer, Jean Coldwell, Gayle Hennum . ROW 2: Miss Steinhaus, Pam Milberger, Cathie Stewart, Jean Schroeder. Invitational. The Girl's Volleyball team got off to a fa t start this year winning the first place trophy in the North– east Invitational Tournament. This was followed by a second place position in the Superior tourna– ment. The team this year consisted of three squads, each practicing very ha rd three nights a week . Because of the great leadership of captain, Jean Schroeder, and Coach Monette Steinhaus, the vol– leyball team had a very uccessful eason which undoubtedly will carry over next year when they go interscholastic.
