Dedication The Cia of '72 grant it greate t honor to Mr. Zane Gray by dedicating the 1971-1972 edition of the White Pine to him. He ha hown unending enthu ia m and ucce s with the marching band, pep band, tage band, and the majorette . Under hi direction, the band had maintained it tandard of mu ician hip. Although he worked hard to put the marching band back in a place of prominence at CHS, it i al o obviou that Mr. Gray marche to the beat of a dif– ferent drummer. Mr. Gray' amb ition i apparent through the formation of pom-pom girl and nag bearer . Mr. Gray i admired greatly by all the tudent of CH not only for being urbane, but for holding a record number of pretzel tick in hi mouth at one time. The out of town game have had more pirit with the pre ence of the pep band. Although we remember hi concert , our be t memorie of hi enthu ia m and upport of the team are econd to none.
