QUEEN KATHLEEN 1964 Homecoming officially began Thur!Jday evening, October 8, vith a snake dance followed by a bonfire. Friday noon, October 9, the campaigning for homecoming queen came to an end with the crowning of the 1964 Queen, Kathleen Bart. Kathy, along with Sandra Dalen and Linda DeWald, was chosen by the senior class as can– didates for queen. Jeff Pettit was the master of ceremonies and introduced the candidates and their attendants. The queen was revealed by the co-captians of the football team. Last years homecoming queen, Muriel Derby, crowned Kathleen. She wa~J as– sisted by Cheryl Kasper, flower girl, and Dale Sch!llith, crown bearer, both first graders. Queen Kathleen was also attended by Antoinette Bart, the junior attendant, and Shirley Callahan, the sophomore attendant• Quean Kathleen continued her reign at the homecoming dance that evening. Her ballroom was decorated with a football scene.
