K I NG A ND Q U E E N 0 F H E A R T S 1965 Queen Linda I and King Kent I The 1965 King and Queen of Hearts Festival was held on February 5. The attendants and candidates came forward with -Moon River" as the processional music. Marledene Derby,the 1964 Queen of Hearts and Dennis Cottrell,the substitute for Charles Moy– er,the King,were introduced to the audience. The big moment arrived when the seal– ed envelope was opened.Marledene and Dennis placed the crowns on theheads ofLinda Mudek and Kent MilleroQueen Linda and King Kent continued their reign at the Val– entine Ballo Attending the King and Queen are from top to bottom: Rosemary Epler,Larry Rach, Stacy Storbeck,Jim Markus-Senior attendants.
