Thornton, received its fifteenth highly superior rating in the past sixteen years. Out of the sixteen solo and ensemble entries at the District Contest in Devils Lake, fourteen received highly superior and two received superior. The fourteen who received highly supenor ratings represented Central in the State Contest at James- town. The Band's many activities included the annual
