This club's main objective was to keep busy throughout the year, which it did. Raising mosses and working with Planaria were just two of the individual projects the students worked on. Making a relief map of Eddy County was a project they all enjoyed sharing. Special speakers through the season were Dr. Schrock, Dr. Seibel, Dr. Braxmeir, Marvin Hedquist and Earl Sanderson. Si Seymour showed the group the fundamentals of stuffing birds and other animals, which created much interest among the members of the club. Mr. Evanson supervises lab work during a club meeting. 32 Marvin Hedquist explains the relationship between science and his job on the Great Northern Railroad.
