Everyone is ready to eat. Faculty and school board enjoy them- selves too. Moonlight and Roses was the theme used for the 1961 Jr. -Sr. Banquet and Prom. On May 6, at 6:30 p.m. the activities started in the First Lutheran Church where the banquet was held. Ruth Salmonson, President of the junior class, was master of ceremonies. George Dunham, a member of the school board, was the special speaker. At 9:00 everyone was very much ready to dance under the blue starry sky. A rose vine fence and arch way made a very pretty entrance for the couples . A swing en- twined with roses was in the center of the dance floor . The stage was set for a garden party with a wishing well for the punch bowl. Everyone seemed to enjoy the cool refreshments that were served. The couples danced to the music of Burlesons Orchestra of Kensel, North Dakota. Dancing under the starry sky 39
