Seniors are presented with diplomas. cSeniors 2Jid7areweff The 1961 senior class gave their last performance on the Harry Moore show which was the main attraction for class night. Awards were presented to outstanding seniors following the show. On Sunday night May 21, Baccalaureate exercises were held, followed by a tea at which the senior mothers were hostesses. The tea was enjoyed by seniors, parents, and friends. Graduation night was held on Thursday May 25. Thirty-five seniors received their diplomas that night. Speeches by the valedictorian and salutatorian and an address by Kiaran L. Dooly was the feature of the program. With graduation exercises drawing to a close, the senior class of 1961 gave their final farewell to NRHS, where they have experienced many memorable occasions.
