Tollefson, and Coach Norlin Nelson. :Roc£els 9ain 23erl.£ 1n 0/ale The Rockets, coached by Norlin Nelson, won the GNDG by defeating Fessenden in earlier season play to surge them on to fu- ture state berth. They started their drive to the state by capturing the District Tour- nament, whipping Fessenden 56-50, where on they moved to Regional play again tak- ing first by beating Rock Lake 54-44 for their chance in State Tournament. This was the second time in the history of our school that a Rocket squad had reached this goal! The team average for the cage season was 61. 04 points per game with a total of 1709 points scored compared to opponents' 1261. These figures show that the Rockets had a very successful season with 24 games won compared to only a 4 game loss record. Our Trophy cases are decked with four ad- ditional trophies reminding us of ou! victo- rious basketball season.
