7oreword The 1960 Dial which was awarded the Sigma Delta Chi trophy at the 40th annual Northern Interscholastic Press Ass'n Convention was edited by Lorraine Aardahl and Gail Boe. Metals were given to the Co-Editors for their work. Recogni- tion was also given to Mrs. Curt Gabrielson, past advisor on the Annual Staff. Previous staff members and this year's editors Judy Linder- man and Corrine Aardahl, who feel the NIPA award will encourage interest in the school yearbook, proudly display the trophy belO\, . We, the 1961 Dial Staff, wish to leave with the student body this book of school day memories. 2
