SENIOR CLASS HISTORY We entered the halls of F.H.. in the early faJl of 1949 as lowly Freshmen. We were looked down on from every angle. But by January we were on our own two teet and elected our cla s officer , after the political speeches in the huge auditorium. Those el– eaed were: Joan Cieslinski, President; Donald crosoppi, Vice-President; Jerry Daniel, Treasurer; and Audrey Wil on, ecretary. Under their leadership we held our first da~ce, carrying out the theme of the circus. Early in our OJ homore year we re-elected our offcer for a econd term. The theme for our dance was "Davy Jones' Locker". \V/e strove hard to make the honor roll and to make a name for our elves; orne of us were succe sful. Ju t before Easter we held a Ham raffle which proved very worth while. At the encl of May we ordered our class ring . Last )'Car we lost a number of our clas mate to North Hunterdon Reg:onal High School. Early in the fall we elected Donald cro oppi, President; Andy Williamson, Vice-President; Audrey Wil on, cretary; and Jerry Daniel, Treasurer. Keeping to tradition ·we held a turkey raffle in November. With the coming of Spring, we started working on the decorations for our big night, May 9. Even though it ound boa ttul, our Prom, with rhe Hawaiian theme was a big ucce . This year we held our elections oon after we returned a eniors. The re ults were: Pre ident, Andy Williamson; Vice-President, Jerry Daniel; Recording Secretary, Audrey Wilson; Corresponding ecretary, Marianne Swidor; Trea urer, Barry Corona: and ergent-at-Arms, Bill Blackwell. Soon the Echo taff was bu y and could be een running around with forms, pic– tures, and ads. In November we revived th~ cu tom of having a Senior play. "Too Many Date " was the play that we cho e to pre ent. All may feel it wa a big hit. Bur in December we took time out for. our enior dance. Then as soon as the auditorium was cleaned up, we started on class-night. Then came June and our exams, Baccalaureate, and finally that last great moment in our school ca.reer, graduation. A we look back o er the year , we shall never forget our teacher and the friends we have made. We hope they will remember u a long as we remember them.
