The cheerleader are a familiar sight at football and ba ket– ball game . The aim of cheerleading i to promote good chool pirir and al o to cheer their team on to victory. Two of the traditions of the cheerleader were carried on this year and proved very uccessful. One w the Thank giving Night Pep Rally during football eason and the econd wa the two sock hops. Candidate from the Fre hman and opho– more clas e tried out and from these, three were picked. The new J. V. Cheerleaders are Carolyn Phillips, Katie Lachenmayr, and Nancy Bryan. 66
