It has been going strong for 9 nine years at Del Norte. Three of Mesa's most im– portant goals are to encourage minority students to acquire the academic skills necessary to major in math, science, or the engineering field. Mesa believes that everyone is a minority. Even though Mesa is designed for minorities in target ethnic groups, anyone is welcome. Dur- Marcus Trujillo Mesa Welcomes All ing the school year, these privileged stu– dents in Mesa attend workshops, field trips, and various other things. The sponsor is Louis Gauna, President is Marcos Trujillo, the Vice-President is Dhawal Kholwad. The Communications Secretary is Cheryl Garcia, and Kim Ravenscraft is the Recording Secretary, Tim Goldmann is the Treasurer, Jarrod Smith and Warren Chase are the His– torians.
