I think to myself maybe I should be out there helping the coach and giv– ing them moral support... Naaaa," I the team manager Jon Gayer said. The J.V. softball team works hard. They have pride and dedi- cation. They are always giving 100% to every practice. "We can only hope that we will get far this season," said Janette Gallegos during pre-season practice. They did by defeating the Cib– loa Kittens 9 to 5 and 7 to 2. In their first game Del Norte de– feated the La Cueva Cubbies 15 to 5. We can only hope that they keep up the hard work. So that the Del Norte tradition of excel– lence and pride can be kept alive. The JV coach was David Lu– cero. By Jonathan Gayer Cathy Kasnic hardly work to take time out for a picture.
