Student Council The fall meetings of the Student Council competently presided over by President Jerry Hanifin. He received efficient assistance from Vice-Presi– dent AI Heggelke, Secretary Phil De– Persis and Treasurer Rog Haines. Fall activities sponsored by this group in– cluded a dance, a contribution of $45.00 for Christmas packages, and $10.00 to CARE. The officers and sponsor of the organization attended the Southern Tier Interscholastic Asso– ciation meeting in Delhi. The duties of the Council were taken over in the spring by the newly elected officers, President Jerry O'Loughlin, Vice-Presi– dent Bruce Campbell, Secretary Imo– gene Cross, and Treasurer Ted Savo. Activities of the spring term included a mock council meeting held in assem– bly, a contribution to Memorial Day Decorations, and playing host to a meeting of the Triple Cities Student Council. To finance its various activi– ties, the Council conducted a semi-an- Poge Ftfty.
