Junior Red Cross The Junior Red Cross representa– tives who meet at least once a month with their leader, Miss Fox, hove col– lected this year, ash trays, cones, play– ing cords, and squares for ofghons, all to go to veterans' hospitals. The school as a whole was honored when their president, Vickie Woitkovicz, was elected Broome County Junior Red Cross chairman. TOP RIGHT, FILLING RED CROSS BOXES. German Club Reading newspapers from German speaking countries, singing German folk songs, and playing German games constituted part of the program for the German Club this year. Mr. Paul Kraiss led the group on their pleasant way, assisted by the officers: Robert Mor– gan, Allan Winterberger, Eleanore Thim, Norah M'Gonigle and Paul Sydmon. The French Dinner "Un bon repos n'est-ce pas?" "N'est-ce pas," agree those mem– bers of the French class who attended the French Dinner in November. The theme of the "diner" was "Cordon Bleu" or Blue Ribbon, and it did take first prize with its many fine delicacies. Only French was spoken throughout the entire meal. Page Fifty-Three
