Only in the first quarter were the Warriors in any danger, as they suppressed the somewhat weak team to gain their sixth straight league victory. The big three in the scoring column for North: Roche, Clarke and Donnelly, paved the way with 16,15 and 13 points, respectively. Jan. 23-Endicott Ending the first half of the league schedule in undisputed possession of first place, the In– dians added the Orange Tornado to their list by stopping them 75-45. John Donnelly with 22 points, and Buck Roche with 20 points, led the assault. Jan. 30-John5on City Again the Maroon Cage Kittens proved no match for the championship-bound aggrega– tion from North High. The Maroon were never in the game, as the Big Red grabbed the lead and refused to let go, steadily building up the margin until it reached 53-35. And, again it was the big three who piled in the points, headed by Roche with 25, Clarke's 12 and Donnelly's 11 points. Jan. 31-Norwich Even though the Indions traveled to the lair of the Purple Raiders, a place where they hod suffered many defeats, they once again showed their championship form in defeating Norwich 46-24. In this non-league encounter, the pace setters were Roche and Donnelly, with 15 and 10 points, respectively. Feb. 6--Eimira Free Academy In spite of the fact that big Jerry Halpin of E.F.A. garnered 20 points, the Northmen chalked up their ninth league victory to keep their slate clean as far as league competition is concerned. Trailing at first, the Warriors pulled ahead to go on to fashion a 59-39 win . Roche's 19, Donnelly's 15 and Garbarino's 10 led the way. Feb. 13-lthaca Starting fast, the Indians mode it ten straight conference wins by beating a hard – fighting Little Red Team from Itheca by the score of 53-42. The Ithoco team come back fighting the second half but a stronger North team quelled the rally. As usual, Roche and Donnelly led the scoring parade, with 18 and 12 points, respectively. Feb. 14-Vestal In defeating Vestal, the Warriors' sec– ond string, led by Petro and O'Loughlin, rose up to score as many points as the first in this 64-41 game. Buck Roche was the high man for the night with 20 points, followed by Nick Petro who garnered 11.
