Golf Under the leadership of their new coach, Mr. McGinnis, the golf squad prepared to tee off against Union Endi– cott for their regular season. Coach McGinnis is building a great team for the future, although this year he banked on regulars Wiselogel, Hep– worth, Horvath, and Ferenczi to carry the burden on the fairways. These boys were supported by O'Neil and Krna, the newcomers to this year's links team. Boys' Bowling Making a strong finish, North's bowling team split the pins for third place out of a field of twelve teams in the Section Four Bowling Tournament. During the regular season, the Indians racked up seven wins as compared with seventeen losses to finish fourth . The boys who rolled the big balls this year were Bennett, Horvath, Schaffer, El– liott and Morgan . Ping Pong Some quite ambitious girls who en– joy intramural sports found it difficult to advance on the ladder when they signed up for the singles Ping Pong Tournament. Adele McDevitt held the top rung for the longest time. In the doubles tournament, the winners were Betty Bitting and Betty Lou Hutch– ings. Page Seventy-One
