Binghamton North High School 1948 Yearbook (Binghamton, NY) - Full Access

Page Four Foreword Remember those wonderful days now passed, when, with rapidly beating pulse, we surged through the gates of the playing field to cheer our team to victory? Or those when we attended plays, musicales, or merely strolled about the school during leisure time? Even though these same days may have for most of us, held some unpleasant moments, they will be looked back upon as among the best years of our lives. Following graduation, the majority of us will go out into life to put into practical use the knowledge pro– cured in these seemingly long years of schooling. It is quite probable that the paths of many of us will never cross again. Realizing the difficulty of remembering events and personages, the Wampum Staff has com– piled, between these covers, a summary of school life for this momentous year. We trust that it will aid you in recalling fond memories of this World of North.
