Tech Elec Club One of the main purposes of the Techni– cal Electrical Society is to 1 earn more about electricity and electronics through educational and social contacts with engin– eers and representatives of industries in the Triple Cities. The program for this term included trips to the General Electric Laboratory in Schenectady, to the Goudey Station in Westover, and to several other industries. The boys also heard a lecture on advanced education in the engineering profession. Projection Guild An organization which strikes a high note at North is the Projection Guild. This club not only shows educational films for various classes, but it also gives highly entertain– ing noon-hour movies throughout the year. Projection Guild is made up of boys who are interested in the mechanics of showing movies. First row: Jack Freer, J.ulian Chechalka, W'lller Ru– dolph, Dick Durofchalk. Red Cross Red Cross, under the capable direction of Miss Virginia Greenmun, has been very busy this year. In November Red Cross had an "old record" drive, for the listening benefit of the Veteran's hospitals. In the spring term they had a drive to fill boxes for the orphaned children of the wars. The club is now being organized so it will be appreciated for its value during epedemics, air raids and floods.
