PEDER LARSEN FROM DENMARI( Dear D. c. S. Students and Faculty: I would like to thank you and especially my hosts, Mr. and Mrs. J. Leland Rickard, for the wonderful time I've had in Deposit this year. During my stay in your country, I have found that there are two kinds of Americans--the kind you find in Europe and the kind you find in the u. S. I wish that all people could see Americans as I have seen them during my wonderful stay in the u. S. By bemg able to see Americans at home, I have been able to in – crease my understanding of them. The same also applies to Ameri– cans. If more students could go abroad to learn about other countries, then perhaps peace would not be an empty word. Because there can be no peace without understanding, there needs to be a greater par– ticipation in such wonderful programs as the American Field Service Again, I would like to thank you for the kindness you have shown me during my stay here.
