Mike O'Brien at the finish. CROSS-COUNTRY Spartan Dan Paine in the lead. This year, as usual, the cross-country team had an ad– mirable record, and in addition they show great potential for next year. With a team principally of underclassmen, the ME runners placed fourth in STAC competition and won six individual trophies in large meets, Senior, Dan Sivers, was 'named to the Second All-Star Team. With many men returning next year, Coach Rarrick is expecting an excellent season in 1969.
