Student Council Representatives The Student Council has been an active organization this year, and its officers and members have seen work– ing hard for the students' benefit. The Council has sponsored Student Activities Cards to give those who attend athletic events a discount and to encourage attendance at these events. It has also sponsored Gripe Assemblies to allow students to air com– plaints about school problems. The officers of the Council have had frequent discussions with the Board of Education members to discuss student problems. Many special events and activities have also been managed by the Council. Among these are the Annual Home– coming Festivities, the Christmas Dance, and a program entitled "Up with People" with a group from Syra– cuse. They have also sponsored the Spring Weekend and the Annual Election Campaign. Some new committees have also been set up to add to the services of the Student Council; a Student-Teacher Relations Committee and an Assemblies Committee. The Student Council has made contributions in many ways to Maine-Endwell student activities all through the school year. Student Council Alternates
