REFRESHING ENDURANCE ANEW PHASE IN GIRLS SPORTS The girls' track team started slowly but gradually gained momentum. As in all sports, the team' s record did not reveal an accurate evaluation of the girls' personal accomplishments. Whether she competes in one or several events each girl has her specialty. Some excel in sprints, hurdles, shot puts, or the long jumps while others prefer long distance runs, relays, discus or the high jump. Girls track opened new avenues for the average athlete. She tests her endurance, agility, and spirit. Each girl works alone but as an integral part of a team. In the years to come Windsor hopes its team will become a dominant member of the Susquenango Association.
