126 GIRL9 TEAM9 HONORED AT BANQUET The Volleyball ream lines up aher receiving rhcir awards. Last year, during the 8th Annual Varsity Club Banquet, the athletes who had participated in sports were recognized. The girls received varsity letters, medals, trophies and certificates earned by individuals and teams. Some awards that were given out were the MerriH Klumpp Award, based on athletic ability and school achievement, and the Martha Madision Award, based on superb athletic ability. The recipients were Sue Carlson and Kathy Price, respectively. After the dinner everyone ad journed to the auditorium for a special treat. Films were shown of games, matches and meets during the school year. They were syncronized to music and the audience enjoyed this final wrap-up of the 1978-'79 girls sports year. Girls' Basketball champs receive their awards. The archery ream, )rd place winners, after receiving their awards.
