We skipped rope and see-sawed together. We shared our deepest secrets. We stood close by each other's sides. We laughed and we loved. Oh, how beautiful it was as we sailed along down the brooks of life We never thought it would change. It couldn't happen to us- we were so sure. But, time grew short. Day became night; at the peak of Shawn's life her sun stopped shining. In our hearts we know Shawn has not left us, but merely waits on the hc~izon of the new day.
