Windsor High School 1980 Yearbook (Windsor, NY) - Guest Access

FROM DAWN TODU9K The freshman enters as the sun peeps over the hills. There is a lot t~ learn and a lot to master. The grass is still cold and wet with dew. The morning starts and the freshman becomes a sophomore. Much has already been accomplished but many things remain unawakened. The day gains strength as the sun climbs. After the ascent, there is still quite a bit to be done before the day closes. Afternoon leads into evening as the junior looks back on his successes and works toward his glorious sunset. The sunset is the glory. The senior has survived his confusing days as a freshman. He has worked as a sophomore and junior and now the hills are red with the energy of the last phase. The sunset is not an end, however, but a culmination of one process. As the sun sinks onto the horizon, it becomes the sunrise on a different horizon. A new day is born and the senior strides forward.
