Last year the newly organized Warriors had no Senior members. The team picked up valuable experience by "trying their wings" againstvariousJuniorVars- ity teams. Because of their lack of real experience things did not always go smoothly, but the fighting Warrior spirit could not be bent for long, and was never broken. A loss only made them work harder, and resulted in the emergence of a most promising team. Under the excellent guidance of Coach Carl Newton and his assistant BILL WECKEL, a total of 3 wins and 3 losses was accomplished this year. Since c. V. 's field had not yet been completed, home games were played on Rappaport's field. It is not an easy task to build a winning team in such a short period of time, and we take off our hats to the boys and coaches for their fine record. This however ,ls only the beginning; the beginning of the glorious, victorious Warriors to come. C.V.C.S. 21 St. Mary's 6 C.V.C.S. 18 Greene 12 C. V.C.S. 7 Whitney Point 18 C.
