Future Homemakers of America The Future Homemakers of America is a newly organized group under the skilled leadership of Miss Martha Millen. The club will be a chapter of the national organization that has a member- ship of over 350,000. All girls who have taken Homemaking may become members. The ob- jectives of the FHA are to encourage better social, home and family relationships, to promote further study of home skills, and to bring together all girls interested in Homemaking. ~ FIRST ROW: D. THIRD ROW: J. English, D. Gutensperger, M. Hiller, E. Moore, C. VanHusen, K. Valentine, M. Reece. Junior High Art Club Junior High Art Club, under the direction of Miss Majorie Roberts, is for junior high pupils with a real interest in art. They learn fund a- mental concepts of design and color. Two of the activities of the current school year were a tour through Broome Tech. and a lecture by a scientist from the Oak Ridge, Tennessee atomic energy plant.
