Teacher of the Year: Mrs. Nancy Abbott By a committee composed of teachers, administrators, and students, Mrs . Nancy Abbott was selected as the Teacher of the Year for the academic year 1980-81. Presently a First Grade Teacher, Mrs . Abbott has taught in the elementary grades of the Whitney Point Central School District for many years. Her dedication and enthusiasm are always evident in the pleasant and positive atmosphere she creates in her classroom. Through a strong sense of professionalism tempered with charm and wit, Mrs . Abbott provides the proof that learning can be fun . Faculty and students share a pride in knowing and working with Mrs . Abbott.
