Holy Family High School 1951 Yearbook (Auburn, NY) - Full Access

HWe trust that your countenance may smile September 1950 brought :fifty-two new faces to Holy Family's student body. Once settled down to the routine of the daily schedule, the class of 1954 began to grasp, along with class matter, something of what it means to belong to Holy Family. Honors in scholastic standings, sports and school activities have marked the fresh men as a class well equipped to represent Holy Family High School. An armload of books and a studious spirit send the frosh along with their upperclass com– panions through H.F.'s hall toward a new classroom and a different subject each period. The Advent wreath serves as a constant reminder to the students to spiritualize their day's activities in preparation for the coming of Christ. Hands up! No, it's not an attempted robbery, but the eager "frosh" in Introduction to Business. A thorough grounding in general business prac– tices, and a realization of the impor– tance of business concerns in modern economic life, are the aims of the course.
