Holy Family High School 1951 Yearbook (Auburn, NY) - Full Access
Numbering over eighty members, Holy Fam· ily's Glee Club draws musically-minded boys and girls into its ranks. Two weekly practice periods are part of the regular routine, with extra rehearsals scheduled as the need arises. Besides the enjoyment of singing, the students have the opportunity of gaining additional scholastic credits in this course. School entertainments, assembly programs, sol· emn church functions- all provide an opportunity for the members to learn to appreciate and sing well many different types of musical compositions. In June, the underclassmen don white academic caps and gowns for their part in the Baccalaureate Mass and graduation exercises that close the school year. Left to right, First row: M. A. Glancy, C.
